My pain management dr suggested the fentanyl patch but im really not sure if its worth trying. Shes already taken me off norco and put me on percocet because i was in intense constant pain with episodes of knee dropping break through pain for 4 days straight. It has helped for the contant pain (i think the break thru pain let up on its own). Then she suggested a low dose patch because it would be longer acting. But im not sure it would be that helpful and i dont even want to be on the narcotics im on now so i dont want anything stronger unless there are definate benefits.
