I just now saw this amazing opportunity for members of Ben’s friends groups! There is a medical company offering a second opinion with world renown specialists! This is awesome for those who can’t get to a specialist who could be hundreds of miles away, or can’t afford one, or are unhappy with what their specialist says, etc.
It may even be useful to people who are not yet members, who need a second opinion and can't get one in other ways. If you can get them to join one of the groups, they will have the same chance as other members to have this service.
Thanks for the bump and feature, Jackie. I also noticed LEGAL AID for us on the main page. What great resources! If I missed seeing those boxes all this time, I'm sure others did too, so I thought I'd mention them.

I also found out that my group health insurance plan (general group plan through work) has a service that provides free "second opinions" for a very broad range of medical conditions. I believe it is something that is done by reviewing your chart / test results by 'leading specialists' at organization such as the Mayo clinic - or at least that is how it is decribed. If you have a private / group health plan and would like a second opinion see if this is something they offer. Just an idea in addition to what our site offers.
