Anyone ever had double vision with carbamazepine? (tegretol) I do have flu and am not overly worried just wondered 
on a happier note my jaw is very stiff today and my head hurts but I feel like the nerve is sleeping… With one eye open x

Yes, it was present in varying degrees during the several months that I took it.
I used it for 2 months with no pain relief but with some sleep relief. I don't sleep more than an hour. I did get the double vision and some other side effects that I can't all recall...I know I had my daughter and son check me for a stroke during the first 3 weeks. I was fine just feeling the side effects. I am a migraine sufferer and had way more of these during the time I was on the C. I have discontinued this med because I have an upcoming nerve block but my neurologist says I may want to continue...he says it's the best med out there for PHN and TNP. Hope this helps. Thanks guys also been getting a feeling like there are bug crawling on my feet. Before all this the strongest drug id tried was pot, never been so mashed in my life than now lol!
No knockin the pot here....helps me in the interim period while I'm waiting for my meds to kick in. Also helps with the stress of course. I actually get more relief from the "medibles" than I do from smoking. More relief to the body that way. I also suffer from Fibromyalgia and polyneuropathy in my feet,legs, and arms. Marihuana does help me in many ways.
