Buddy System To Accomplish Projects

I am so sad for you and your condition. You are sticking to your plans and activities as best as you can, but I am familiar with the being so, so, so sick of the pain. I so wish there was something I could do for you. Prayers for grace in your life. It’s so easy when you are in pain to lose hope and faith in the present and future. Close your eyes and breath deeply . Find that place inside where the pain is and focus your mind on letting go, just let it go. Unclench your jaw, relax your tongue, your cheeks, breathe cal ly into your body positivity. When you are busy and your pain hits you very hard, you must stop and give your body a break time. You are a smart person who will figure out how to do what you love. Stay with this support connection. We all care deeply about you. Laurel

This is a good idea. I haven’t even opened the projects I’m most passionate about in weeks cause of all the stuff I’m dealing with(which I’m usually glued to). I’m a full time student, 28 years old, been around the block and finally found my calling with programming. My real interest for the past 2 years has been making video games, but I just get so burned out when trying to read documentation and can only think about the pain in my face, bills, life…

I have another condition that’s attacking my eye nerves, is causing TN, and I’m so, so, so sick of tests. I just had a spinal tap the day before a final exam a couple weeks ago, drew 4 vials of fluid (takes 30 minutes to drip out once the needle’s in your spine) and I had the worst headache from driving to school (motion of the car), let alone thinking straight. I passed somehow.

i just saw this thread… what a great idea!

Fill me in on your projects as you choose to do so.

In my dreams! Wow, you create children’s games. I always thought that would be a fun occupation. With all you physical problems, it must be a challenge, alright. Here I sit all hopeful for you and excited to hear when you finish your projects.

I’m obviously a lot older than you are, so hopefully ypu won’t mind if in my mind, I give you a great big hug. Hang in there; you can do it somehow, some way. You are really something, you know that?

As for me, that t-shirt quilt is sitting within sight over on my sewing table. I sense the need to finish that project and to post it on this site. Thanks for the encouragement. Together, we can all manage to do our individual projects (speaking to the whole group of us).

Are you coming along with your t-shirt quilt? The link looked really cool, awesome way to wrap up memories. I always preferred family made quilts to any other.

My current projects right now are finishing school, and figuring out a way to continue working on my programming projects. I really want to finish building this kids game I prototyped for smartphones/tablets: http://www.livingwithtn.org/photo/kids-games-i-was-working-on-until…

Here is the Tee Shirt Quilt. Squares on black border don't all match up. My husband loves it just the way it is, so imperfections and all, this is it. Each square has great meaning to him. This thing took more work than it looks like it would. Still, it could have been done in about two or three days for another person, but when, like me, you have to work so very hard not to be sucked up into a black hole, projects can take a wee bit longer.

Great quilt, good job. what does G.R.C.C. stand for?

Nice! I am trying to make one for my kids from their racing shirts. So far I just have a big bag of shirts and the idea!

Love this, amazing work!!!

Green River Community College. My husband taught music there for thirty-seven years until he retired in 2007.

Look up how to make them. No need to buy a pattern. Have fun.
