Lauren, I just came upon your email. I believe you are right about the autoimmune disease and TN type 2. What are you taking now for pain? I have had type 2 for 12 years. I am 47 years old.
Raynauds and tn are also related to scleroderma. Unless you go to a sc specialist they may not run all nine antibody tests. Make sure they do.
I had all the blood work under the sun done including the one that test for auto immune and everything was negative. Everyone is different though
My neurologist theorizes that it’s possible that some facial pain, especially in those with more constant burning etc, can be caused by autoimmune and fibro.
