does anyone believe that alcohol triggers tn ?
TN is rare. Alcoholism isn't. So I don't personally see any cause and effect relationship between them.

Exercising might be a bit more understandable, particularly if your heart rate and blood pressure were elevated. I can't definitively say that alcohol has no relevance to TN pain. But I don't see quite as consistent a relationship. Others on-site have voiced concerns quite parallel to your own.

I think it's possible that alcohol could be a trigger for TN, because it certainly is a trigger for my migraines. I could easily make the leap and believe that for some people it's a trigger. I've never been a big drinker, so I can't say if it affects my TNP.
