That’s a full sized recliner. Bear is 110 pounds of Akita. He keeps me safe while I’m sick and alone at home.

He's not affectionate, and usually doesn't even want to be touched. But he is so intelligent it's creepy! We've never taught him any tricks involving the word closet, but once my husband was so mad he said, "Bear, just go... lay down in the closet!!" The dog tipped his head, turned around, and went down the hall. We looked at each other and said, "You don't think... ?" Then we tip-toed after him, and there he was curled up on our closet floor! :O Scary!!
