Until my MVD surgery. My TN started up about 5 years ago, in the past year it has literally exploded in to this monster that has ruled my life and my husband's life as well. I'm on Neurontin three times a day and Tegretol ER three tabs twice a day. I'm honestly surprised I function as much as I do on this much medication. I've gotten a couple of opinions regarding surgery and they both were 100% MVD. I honestly cannot WAIT to have my surgery. Just last weekend I upped my Tegretol to as high as I can safely up it and I'm still having these nasty tingles and bursts of pain that are beginning to affect my ability to talk slightly. Unfortunately I also have to go to work every day and listen to people complain about the pain they are in--which makes me want to smash the receiver on the desk repeatedly and then scream at them about the amount of pain I'm in and could they please shut up now? :-) Just 47 more days--I can last that long without losing my mind, right? :-)
