While looking through this site I noticed that the average MVD scar is less than half the size of the one I have. I had 30 staples and have an S shaped scar running from all the way down the side of my head to my neck. In recent X Rays I also appear to have a minor skull fracture near the plate in my head. I don't know if we have inferior surgical techniques in Australia or if I just had a bad surgeon???

Hi Angie, I’ve seen all different shapes and sizes for mvd, I just think every surgeon is different. What’s the plan for the skull fracture? Can they do anything? Do you still have pain?
