With Pain, Comes Strength

This is a poem I wrote for one of my classes and wanted to share it with all of you

With Pain, Comes Strength

Stabbing, numbness and cold I feel,
No matter the season,
The pain drops me to kneel,
That comes on without reason.
The pain is an invisible to the eye,
You cannot see my pain,
This pain brings on people to die,
The disease lives in my brain.
Daily pills have become my life,
To be able to get out bed,
Pills help to live without strife,
To go to my classes without dread.
My pain is my strength,
Having goals in my arm’s length. -HB
