Hi Jimmy I just read that it is 77 degrees in Barbados. I think more people than just kc might show up on your doorstep.
Isn't Living with TN an extraordinary communiity? You are receiving a lot of support and information.
When I have an appointment with my physician, I write out a list of questions and a full update on my condition. Forgetfulness is side effect of a number of TN medications. I was forgetful before this mess started, so I can get in real trouble-ha ha
Also, if I have any significant change in my medcal or prescription condition, I do not hesitate to telephone my physician. Most likely, you will not connect directly but the message will be delivered your MD. At times, I have left notes at the clinic to report a significant change or an important question.I always receive a response within a reasonable time. Yes, they are busy people but you are the patient, the one suffering and most physicians recognize this-as long as your correspondence is reasonable.
For example, kc suggests talking to your doctor about lidocaine. You might not want to wait until your appointment to ask.I was curious about paracetamol.and read a little about it. Some of the research suggests caution about the amount of lidocaine used with paracetamol. I don't know anything about all of this and I'm just passing on some info I have read. So, I include the following only as a possible example of contacting the physician before your appointment. Good Luck, stay in touch
