Wife does not have TN

Warning:

Well after a glycerol injection, and decompression surgery failures. My wife was left with numbness and still had the pain. So we go back to her neurologist. This time I request that they turn off her VNS implant. Even though both the neurologist, and neurosurgeon told us that the VNS implant could not be causing her pain. Then once they turned the VNS off, with in 10 seconds the pain completely stopped. So they turned it back on at a lower setting. Now she has no more pain. But still has the numbness and tingling from the injection. On our follow up visit last week with the neurologist, there have learned a second patient refereed to them by their dentist claiming the patient has the classical TN symptoms like my wife. They turned her VNS down too. Now that patient is pain free. Looks like CyberTronics may have a problem with their devices. So we now have over $75,000 in medical bills for the failed procedures, and the expenses of all the other doctors in the past 2 years that we have sought treatment. Plus the 2 years of pain and worry, not knowing what was wrong, or causing the pain.
