# Update

Ok so on March 14 I had my appt with my new Neurologist. So I was finally dx with TN. My N is great. He also suffers from TN so he is fully aware of what I am going through.

Medications are now as follows:

PMS Carba 600mg 3 times daily

Teva Carba 200mg every 4hrs as needed (I take it 3 times)

Gabapentin 400mg 4 times daily

So as you can see I am on a large dose of medication. They make me feel drunk sometimes. (which I have never been in my life.) The medications are not working, and I am having trouble swallowing at times as well.

So the next step is an MRI -which is on April 10

as well as seeing a Neurosurgeon-which is schedules April 14

My hopes are that I am a candidate for MVD.

Well that is my update for now.
