Awesome! How much are you taking…I am on the same thing and it definetly helps, but I don’t think my dose is high enough. I am very very happy for you - and it’s great to hear the good news!

Hi Marina,
Sorry it is back. Maybe you can increase the dose again. You may just not be on the optimum dose. I take 3600 mg. So it can be increased.

Marina, I think I have a little memory loss from the 1200 mg I am on, but it isn’t too bad. I tried topamax and that made me a vegetable. I am pregnant right now so they won’t increase my dose until i have the baby. I am curious to see what dosage I will be able to handle. But I did realize that 900 did not work for me. Hopefully you can find relief in increasing your dosage without too many side effects. Best of luck!!

Marina,
I am sleepy but I believe it is from the trileptal and not the neurontin. I didn’t get sleepy until after I started the trileptal.
And maybe you will be able to find the right combination of drugs that allow you to live a normal life.

HI Marina

Glad to hear about your pain free day, I am having one also, or should I said so far so good, yesterday I went to my pain management Doctor and now he upped my Dilantin and is also having me take Lyrica…the Lyrica were samples I told him the insurance company wouldn’t pay for them for a months supply they come to $245.00 I will have to find another insurance company, hopefully someone will pay for them…sorry I rattled on, I am glad you are doing ok…word of advice don’t over do…because generally when I feel good I tried and tackle all the jobs I let go, and then I am sorry later…Take Care Marcy

I take 1200mg a day of tegretol and 300mg a night of neurotrin. I am ok most days but worse in the afternoon. Talking bothers me, chopping veggies, wind, etc. I take neurotrin at night for my legs and back. They recently switched me to gababentin the generic brand and I found it does not work as good. They are switching me back thank god. The tegretol does make me forget things and a little sleepy. I don’t drive. I do my best a work. It is hard. I wish we could all wake up one day feeling ourselves again. One can dream!
