I spent the last week back in the hospital trying to determine the cause of fevers I was having. Since I got out the hospital on 9/20/13 I was having low grade fevers. Each day I would wake up in the normal range and as the day progressed the fever would increase to 100 or slightly higher. Last Saturday it rose faster during the day and approached 102 by 6 p.m.. Long story but was admitted back in the hospital that night . I have been on IV antibiotics since last Tuesday, and will continue be on them for another week with assistance from Home Health Care and family members. After a battle and the ability to start taking a drug that I may have had an a allergic reaction to, I am home instead of a rehab facility for this time period . No final answer yet if the fevers ( which I still get at low grade level) Whether I have an infection or an reaction to the Teflon pads in my head. Either way the membranes of my brain are inflamed and causing headaches, fevers and my TN pain to return. Hopefully things will improve this week.
