I am six months into recovery from an unsuccessful Rhizotomy and a successful (I hope) MVD for a severe case of Trigeminal Neuralgia. Recovery is taking much longer than medically predicted and takes a physical and emotional toll on both my family and me. My wonderful wife Gilly has been an incredible support and has been blogging about her experience as a care giver. She has just completed the first of a series of posts about recovery. This one is called [Recovery-the new norma](http://gillycannon.blogspot.com/)l. Maybe fellow sufferers and care givers will find it as helpful and inspirational as I, and many others have. The blog is called [Brainstorm](http://gillycannon.blogspot.com/) and is at [http://gillycannon.blogspot.com](http://gillycannon.blogspot.com/). Please take a moment to read it and let us know if you find it interesting and/or helpful by leaving a comment or sending an email.

Thanks,

Jonathan
