Thanks ellen6, I haven’t missed even one day of work because of the pain (except for when I was traveling to see a specialist for it). I just suffer through. I usually just go into my lab and try to stay away from the majority of my co-workers because I am afraid I will bite their heads off because I am so grumpy. They all know what I am dealing with, so they give me some space. Pain is horrendous, but I am in just as much pain if I am at home doing nothing, so might as well go to work.
I am just amazed that you can work through it.I only take my meds when I need them.Sometimes I can prolong the period to 7 hours-beyond that I start dropping things and seem like a very scarey person. The pain just hits so much harder the longer I wait.
Have you tried EFT (tapping) which is what a Monk suggested for me at a retreat. If you are interested I can explain to you where he told me to tap.
It is all so bizarre. If I did not have pain when I was sleeping I would have AO,too.Which means sweet nuthin.
There is a problem that no one seems to be able to find-but there is a problem.
I have no choice but to work through it actually. I make more money than my boyfriend, so he would have a difficult time supporting both of us and I have quite a long time until retirement age. When I was in college, I had bad headaches all the time, but I had to work through it in order to finish my degree. I guess I am used to having to work through misery:))) I would prefer the bad headaches over this teeth pain ANY DAY though! I do have to be extremely careful at work, because I am finding that I am also getting a little clumsy because of this pain. I work with explosives quite often, so I have to REALLY pay attention then (can be difficult, but it can be literally a life or death thing if I don’t)
I read about tapping yesterday. That one really seems like an alternative healing technique to say the least. I am contacting some TMS therapy docs to see if they can help me and then go from there. Thanks so much for all your replies!!!
I might have the name of someone you can about going in a coma.Just give me until Monday-going away for weekend and I will send you info.Just reading a book on how t tell when someone is really dead and they talk a bit about it.
Just got to pack and shower and stuff.if I forget -send me a message.
Thanks so much ellen6!
Hi
The book is called Cheating Death by Sanjay Gupta MD.
It was a New York Times best seller in 2010
They talk of a Dr. Mayer,a neurologist that flat lines a patients brain and then brings them back in 3 days-hoping to reset PLEDS
(which is something else ,that we don’t got,yay for us)
I know it is a long shot-but sometimes things work out.
If you get the book it is around page 172 and before.
Let me know if you are able to connect with him.
Good Luck
Thanks so much! I will check it out.
What of surgery did you have the second time
