# I hate the hospital

None of them freaking care. I CANNOT DRINK. I can' freaking move my mouth without wanting to kms, yet they say I have to 'try' no matter how hard it is. I HAVE FREAKING BEEN TRYING. All night, and I can't get anything down without wanting to kms. They're creating their own disaster; taking me off fluids and then asking me to drink/eat when they know full well I CAN'T.
They want to discharge me with pain, knowing that I won't eat or drink. Screw them.

Sorry you are enduring this pain and dealing with being in hospital.
KC dancer makes a good suggestion, it can really help to have someone else acting as an advocate to be your voice when you are in too much pain to talk.
I’m sending you a big healing koala cuddle from ‘down under’, no one should have to deal with what you are experiencing.

hey hun, Do they literally ignore you telling them if you go home you cannot eat and therefore cannot take pain relie?
I read before you said your writing atm due to the pain. They cant just turn you away..what the hell is wrong with these people..dont they know what TN is?
...They cant discharge you if your situation is only worsening \*head shake\* What pain meds have they tried you on so far? i saw nerve block earlier which did not work. As red mentioned on your page before it may be trigeminal neuropathy due to your earlier injuries rather than classic TN.It has recently been suspected that my TN is also trigeminal neuropathy, the only thing that helped at all with pain is Tramadol.
See if they will give you some. I agree with kc dancer also, if theyre not gonna take you seriously, then the fiercest member of your family needs to speak to them. Send an message to red, he is most likely able to give you the best advise on how to approach the drs at the moment.

I'm so sorry you're having to experience this kind of pain at such a young age. Hospital people don't get it...no one does unless you've experienced it firsthand. Before this...I don't know if I could have ever believed, really believed that people could suffer so much agony, and that you cant open your mouth and you can't chew and you cant talk...
A couple things I have learned is...I cant drink out of a straw, I don't drink cold beverages. I sip tiny bits of warm water or tea. I'm sorry that I'm of no help to you, but I really do feel your pain and I'm sending you peaceful energy.
I just wanted you to know that I can hear your cries for help and that I'm thinking of you and care about you.

I found that putting a straw towards the back of my tongue helped me to drink a little when my pain was in the severe stages. I don't know if it will help you, but thought I would put the idea out there.
