I only have pain on the right side of my face/ear/jaw/neck.
If there is pain in the neck, then something besides trigeminal neuralgia may be going on. As I suggested, do get an appropriate blood test done to evaluate for Herpes Zoster and make some decisions about other issues to explore from there. At this point, it seems to me that your profile of symptoms isn't a good fit for active Shingles.
