I ended up getting heat stroke this week. If you are on a anti-seizure medication for you TN, your risk of getting heat stroke is great. It is going to take time, before I no longer feel like I am in a blast furnace, even in 66 degree heat, and I am at even greater risk of getting it again. I share this to warn you as it is a scary place to be in. I got sick waiting at a city bus stop. What saved my butt was the AC on the bus, though my stumbling on the bus had the driver asking if I was ok. Be careful out there.
Thanks for the heads up. I have heat intolerance and this year it is unbearable. Will be doing a search on my med and heat.
Can I ask what meds you are on? I took my girls to the playground today and we were there for about an hour when I just got sick. Felt dizzy and sick to my stomach. I just started Gralise which is a form of Gabapentin.
I am on Trilpital but any anti-seizure medication can be problematic.
