# Flying post MVD, is it OK?

I am looking to do a short haul flight next week (2hrs duration) which will be three weeks post MVD. I do still have pain in my head (mainly on the top and forehead) but not enough to warrant pain meds. Other than the pain and slight balancing issues I am generally pretty much back but to normal but just concerned whether flying is ok? Unfortunately my NS is on holiday so unable to obtain prof. advice.

Hi quickie I had to fly to and from my home to get mvd in another province.  
I flew home 5 days post mvd, and had NO problems! It is safe.

Hi Quickie, I also had to fly out if state for my MVD, and flew home one week post op. I did use the wheelchair service at the airports for my flight home, and I would recommend it if you still feel abit shaky.
