# Failed mvd anniversary!

Pain from T.N been bearable the past month, just having awful side effects from Tegretol. I decided to try and manage on 500mg last week. Was getting on well.Last Thursday I found out that the theraputic (spelt wrong cannot correct) level in my bloodstream was not high enough.Screaming pain on Thursday.I took a scarf and put it over my head and howled like a banshee all day.This did not help, just gave me a sore throat, so I kept the scarf over my head, for heat, and took more Tegretol.By Saturday I was up to 1000mg of Tegretol, my husband said I would poison myself "told him to get stuffed" under my breath, as he looks after me so well.Did not see much of Sunday.Was there a Sunday this week???Yes there must have been, vaguely remember, gulping pills every 3 hours.
Monday I was stoned out my head, decided to get a Bengal kitten, I phoned and said, I was on my way, a round trip off 200 miles.My husband cancelled this.I bought a friggin picture of a "HORSE" for my parents Wedding Anniversary.They are in their seventies, they don't even like horses.....and it took me 2 hours to get my credit card details into the computer to order it.Its on its way and it cost a fortune.But do you know something I could not give a toss, because the pain in the face has eased and I am loving it!!!!!Did not celebrate Valentines day though, because that was the date I had an MVD 4 years ago, which failed after 3 years.Pain has come back worse.My dear husband is still rescuing the salt out of the fridge, and getting used to seeing me for 4 hours a day,the rest of the time I am comatose, but that does not matter, because the 4 hours I am awake, I have no pain.

My Bengal kitten became quite an annoying Bengal cat. The breed has a very inquisitive nature.
I do appreciate and share in your Joy! I am glad you were able to come out of your comatose state, as I love a touching Wedding Anniversary story;)
Jacqueline, what else are your doctors considering? My best to you and your husband, bob
