I have just been told I have this well it was November , I’m currently taking Tegretol 400mg , they don’t do anything… I’m on day 7 of a huge attack on which I haven’t left my room , but things are easing … I have an MRI on Saturday.

Louise, I’m sorry to hear 400 mg of tegretol is not helping you, have you let your doctor know as the dosage for this med can be increased much higher that could make a difference in your pain relief. All the best!
