# Closing in on 1 year post MVD

Hello fellow LTN subscribers.

It is closing in on a year since my MVD. With great success. This last week however I have had several migraines. Then today, BAM, out of nowhere I have pain. Not the same pain as my Geniculate Neuralgia that was "cured" by MVD.

It seems to be a pain surrounding the surgical site. It is very tender, and right now I'd say about a 5/10 on the pain scale.

Has anyone who has had an MVD felt the same thing? Is this something I should panic about? I am hesitant in going to the doctor as the weather is really crappy (barometric pressure fluctuates a lot in a valley) and this usually is the cause of my migraines. I can't justify time off work right now (seeing as I took 12 weeks off last year GULP).

I guess I'm hoping to hear its normal, and it will pass.

yea 5/10 sounds like a dr visit. my site hurts sometimes but it more a weird feeling and passes in an hour or so. good luck, you have been through too much already!

Well after the weather settled down a bit the pain subsided. If it comes back ill see someone.
