My neuro has me starting on amitriptyline and while I am hoping for the best, I need dental work done (fillings) and have now read that tricyclics and dental anesthesia, including marcaine, can be a problem; the norepheinphrine of the tricyclic and the epinephrine of the numbing meds. Has anyone had experience with this? (I'm such a baby, my research says I can't drink my chamomile tea anymore either :-( ).
